On August 29th, 2014, Pauline Garabedian-DeFreitas, Managing Director of Health Solutions Inc. (HSI), was invited to to make a presentation at the request of CRD Holdings Ltd. and its group of companies in Canouan for its annual Diabetes Awareness Week. The presentation and following discussion with participants concentrated on diabetes and its impact on kidney disease in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) and to highlight the services, including dialysis, that HSI can offer to individuals across SVG.
Mrs. Garabedian-DeFreitas was able to openly interact with persons who attended the presentation and advise them on that both diabetes and hypertension are precursors to kidney disease and how HSI can assist with the treatment of these two diseases to ensure that they, separately or together, do not develop into kidney disease.
HSI would like to extend its gratitude to entire CRD Medical Team that includes Dr. Robyn Barnes, Maridonna Burgin, Maggie Dalton and Sidroy Lowman for the invitation to participate in this event and to all CRD employees and members of the wider Canouan community who attended.
