On October 20, 2013, Pauline Garabedian, Managing Director of Health Solutions Inc. (HSI), was invited to to make a presentation at the Bethel Gospel Assembly in Georgetown concerning diabetes, hypertension and kidney disease in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) and to highlight the services, including dialysis, that HSI can offer to individuals across SVG.
Ms. Garabedian was able to openly interact with persons who attended the presentation and advise them on that both diabetes and hypertension are precursors to kidney disease and how HSI can assist with the treatment of these two diseases to ensure that they, separately or together, do not develop into kidney disease.
HSI would like to extend its gratitude to the Ministry of National Mobilisation, Social Development, Non-Governmental Organisation Relations, Youth and Gender Affairs and Persons with Disabilities for the invitation to make this presentation along with its Permanent Secretary Ms. Jasmine Hull, Mr. St. Clair Yearwood, Community Development Officer for North Central Windward, Pastor Calvert Williams, the Bethel Gospel Assembly and all other church pastors and members from the area who attended.
